The Brave and The Bold 62 by retrorobotboy The Brave and The Bold 62 by retrorobotboy
One of my favorite Silver Age DC comics of all time! Black Canary and Starman, versus the Sportsmaster and the Huntress, and featuring the first Silver Age appearance of Wildcat! Awesome art by Murphy Anderson (who's work is featured on the pages I pulled for the BG of my piece)! Photoshop action in full effect!

How I came to own this comic (if you're interested):

Back in high school I had this friend who saw that I had a cassette album he wanted (I think it was a Michael W. Smith tape, can't remember exactly). He asked me what I wanted for it. My first thought was comics. He said he had some at home and he'd bring them and show me. If I liked them, we could swap our goods as a trade. I thought maybe he had a few comics that he bought off the rack recently that he didn't want, but what he came to school with the next day blew me away. The afore mentioned B & B #62 from 1965, but also a Justice League of America #3 from 1961! Obviously he didn't know the gold he was holding. Needless to say, I made the deal.
